Better with Practice: PBL Implementation Tips from the Field

Dates - Thurs Feb. 18, Thurs March 4, Thurs March 11 

Times - Each is offered live twice at 2 pm Pacific/5 pm Eastern and 5 pm Pacfiic/8 pm Eastern

Here's a flow of events associated with PBL Implementation sessions.

1. Thursday, January 21 - Finalize advertising copy PF =Advertise with PF schools now
2. Wednesday, January 27 - 1)  Rough out portal (Learn Central or Clrm 2.0) with description, bios, discussion prompts; 2) Send Save the Date 3) print material ready for Educon
3. Monday, February 2 - Decide on guests and timeslots
4. Tuesday, February 3 - Finish portal, add guests blurb
5. Thursday, February 4 - Open discussion to refine topics 1 & 2 (tweet, blog, get discussion going with key people) 
6. Monday, February 9 - Save the Date blast for all three events (through channels referenced in PF Series PBL Implementation), invite participation in ongoing discussion?     
7. Monday, February 16 - 1) Finalize W1 agenda, presentation materials, upload to Elluminate, share with guests   2) Second Announcement - include all W1 participation intel (elluminate readiness, final agenda,  3) Be ready with W2 & W3 tee up, links to afterparty discussion + recording, info, other)

(Not sure about sequence of  5 & 6- when we are opening discussion and to whom)

Webinar 1 Thursday, February 18 - 2:00 and 5:00 pst  

1. Friday, February 19 - Email to W1 participants with ith information about recorded W1, afterparty discussion, prompt for W2 discussion, open discussion
2. Monday, February 23 - Announce W2 (brief) through channels, invite to discussion to refine W2 topic  (tweet, blog)
3. Thursday, February 25 - 1) Finalize guests, collect anything necessary from them
4. Friday, February 26 - Finalize W2 agenda, send to guests
5. Monday, March 2 1) Finalize presentation materials, get into elluminate, finish portal 2) Send second announcement (reminder), incl W2 participation intel (elluminate readiness, final agenda) 3) Be ready with W3 tee up, links to afterparty discussion + recording, info, other)

Webinar 2 Thursday, March 4  - 2:00 and 5:00 pst

1. Friday, March 5 - Email to W1 &2 participants with information about recorded W1&2, afterparty discussion, prompt for W3 discussion, open for input - What more do you want to hear about, and with whom?
