Please take today's notes here:
Is the ning working for us?  The class took time to read and respond to others ideas on the "Big Ideas" page.
After some time writing a conversation about - Defining Projects took place.  It is good to clarify our own personal criteria for developing projects.
The hope is that through this class, a step-by-step approach will be developed.

Reflections on responding to big ideas:
Many felt that our ideas are similar and reading others ideas validates that we are going in the right direction.

A tour of projects:
kindness think quest:  "the kindness revolution" unit would have been benefited from an approach like the one think quest presented.
Commercial:  the making of a commercial may be a good project, public announcement development also serve this same function.
These formats help student to open their mind to other points of view.  These types images bring home visually a message.
-- now look how we can organize these thoughts using del.icio.us, ---  ex. the time magazine "what people eat"

Think quest - its time for tolerance - good bullying response.  This uses building a website that focuses on becoming advocates for change.
Projects that enhance social skills seem to help fill in the gaps we are finding now since we are so focused on  the curriculum content and standards.

iEARN - is another good source.

Its important to be critical consumers of these project suggestion.

Slide presentation now presented
