What assessment strategies work well in the project context? 

Jane here, thanks for your question. During the instructional design process you will reach a stage where you ask yourself: What would it look like if students understood? What would they be able to show or do? Based on this, design learning activities and closely coupled assessments. Consider constructing rubrics showing dimensions of learning associated with the main learning tasks. They are useful for setting expectations with kids, for tracking progress (formative assessment) and for final assessment.
